Renjala Balachandran is a registered social worker in Singapore and has over 15 years of social work and counselling experience in working with individuals and families. She is also a Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and has extensive experience working with children, youths and adults. She was a member of the Taskforce on Drugs set up in 2011, an interagency taskforce led by Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore.
She is also a member of the Indian After Care Council set up by SINDA to look at the reintegration and the rehabilitation of the Indian ex-offenders. She has also conducted seminars, workshops, group work training with various agencies such Police Academy, MSF, schools and institutions of higher learning.
